From multi-CAD geometry data to a complete analysis model
With the Pre / Post environment of Simcenter™ 3D you can quickly switch from multi-CAD geometry data to a complete analysis model that is ready for use. This can be done using unique tools for CAE geometry editing, comprehensive meshing, FE assembly management, multi-CAE solver environments and fast simulation results after processing and reporting.
Meshing
Build simulation models efficiently using comprehensive commands for the automatic and manual generation of 1D, 2D and 3D meshes. The user-defined geometry operations and mesh and boundary conditions are all linked to the CAD geometry. This means that when the geometry of the basic design changes, you can update your model associatively and you don’t have to repeat the same steps again. This approach significantly reduces downstream modelling time: calculate more iterations in a shorter time.
